Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board (LATCB) appoints Clockwise Consulting to represent the LATCB in Australia & New Zealand. Deanna Varga has been contracted as the account manager on behalf of Clockwise.  Deanna will focus on driving meetings, incentive, conventions and exhibition (MICE) business to Los Angeles from the two key markets. She is based out of Sydney and is supported by a team within Australia.

Varga joins forces with Clockwise as lead account manager in a part time capacity in addition to managing her own consultancy.  With 20 years of sales and marketing experience including MICE strategy in the business events sector.  Deanna’s career thus far has included roles with Business Events Sydney and Business Events Australia. She has also worked in various capacities for hotels by Accor and Sofitel, the Australian National Maritime Museum and project based work for the China National Convention Centre. In 2017, Los Angeles welcomed 411,000 visitors from Australia, making it the destination’s second largest overseas market, behind China. Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board and the Clockwise team just completed a successful AIME, receiving strong leads and live inquiries for as early as 2018/2019.
